SUITEWORLD: DIFFERENT AND THE SAME? Featured

Evan Goldberg, Oracle NetSuiteExcept for a handful of changes, this year's SuiteWorld conference will be pretty much like the past editions. Those changes are it's in Las Vegas, Nev., not in California for the first time, starting Monday, April 24; CEO Zach Nelson is gone, and, oh yeah, Oracle acquired the company last year.

But other than that, things ought to be pretty much the same. Well, maybe. At least, Jim McGeever and Evan Goldberg will once again provide keynotes, except that instead of being COO of NetSuite, McGeever is now EVP of Oracle NetSuite and NetSuite founder Goldberg is now EVP of development. And give the company credit for having outside speakers who are almost all business people instead of following the lead of other conferences and doing something like inviting Dennis Rodman to speak about how basketball rebounding has lessons for the use of ERP software. Wonder if the company will have Goldberg worked into an opening musical number like last year?
