UNIT4 RELEASES WANDA BOT Featured

Stephen Seiber, Unit4Unit4 became the latest financial software vendor to release a bot. The Netherlands-based company has placed Wanda, built on the company’s People Platform, into the market as part of its Spring ’17 launch and the company termed it a milestone on Unit’s plan to product self-driving enterprise software.

The digital assistant was designed to be embedded in the user’s chosen interface and accessed through embedded in the user’s chosen interface, accessed through Skype, Slack, and Facebook messenger. The company described Wanda as providing “a friendly and simple gateway to data in the Unit4 Business World ERP system, adding a level of intelligence and context to suggest actions and help users complete tasks quickly.” Wanda users can “chat” with their enterprise system and it understands multiple topics in a single thread. CEO Stephan Seiber describes Wanda as the “Convergence of conversational user experiences with augmented solutions that self-learn will fundamentally change how enterprise software serves people”. Wanda incorporates five new assistants—the HR, Purchasing, Time, Travel and Approval Assistants.
