UNIT4 NAMES GLOBAL HR EXEC Featured

Henk van den Bogaart, Unit4 Unit4 has named Henk van den Bogaart, as chief human resources officer. Van den Bogaart was mostly recently group HR director of the Vion Food Group, a job he began in October 2015.

Both companies are headquartered in the Netherlands. He also becomes a member of the Unit4 executive committee. In European practice, executive committees are comprised by the CEO and a small number of top execs. They run the day-to-day operations under the oversight of a supervisory committee on which the CEO does not sit. The new exec apparently replaces Kara Walsh, who became an EVP and head of global HR in April 2015. While her LinkedIn profile does not show an end date for employment at Unit4, it reports she became an independent advisor with Kara Walsh Consulting last month. The change appears to be part of the continuing remake of the software company's executive ranks under CEO Stephan Sieber, who took his position in April 2016.
