Rich Green, SugarCRM SugarCRM updated Relationship Intelligence, its product line for gathering and analyzing customer data from a wide variety of sources. That includes broader geographic support for SugarCRM Hint, which was introduced for the United States in June.

Utilizing AI, Hint enables users to provide a contact's name and email address and then automatically searches personal and corporate profile details for that contact. Resulting data is automatically uploaded into the CRM application. Hint also now provides news articles about the contact's organization and offers support for contacts in the United Kingdom, Netherlands and Canada. Rich Green, the software company's chief product officer, said in a prepared statement. "Relationship Intelligence relies on automating large-scale data acquisition and deep learning capabilities to assist users in interactions with customers." A smart mobile assistant was also previewed during the company's recent SugarCon conference, which it says utilizes an "intelligence calendar" to provide logistical and strategic information about each scheduled meeting. Available on October 5, Hint is compatible with Sugar 7.8 or later and available for an introductory price of $15 per user, per month. The mobile app will be available next year.
