EXACT PICKS NEW CEO Featured

Phill Robinson, ExactExact has named a new CEO to replace Erik van der Meijden, who has held the job since 2012. The company immediately filled the position with Phill Robinson, who had a four-year tenure as an executive at Salesforce.com.

The surprising thing is not Van der Mejden's departure, but the fact he lasted since Exact was taken private by Apax Partners two years ago. He is doing something like, other, pursuing yeah, yeah, yeah. Prior to joining Exact, Robinson was an operating partner investment firm HG Capital from January 2016 and February 2017. Prior to that, he was CEO of Iris Software, an HG portfolio company, January 2019 and December 2015, and then was Iris chairman concurrent with his stay at HG. Apax sold its ownership of Epicor to KKR last year. You don't suppose, HG ....? Exact has been rearranging with Apax's purchase of ECI Solutions, which becomes the new parent to JobBoss, Macola and Max. The announcement of Robinson's hiring was he is to develop Exact as a cloud company.
