SAGE VET ARMSTRONG NOW AT CEGID Featured

Donna Armstrong, CegidDonna Armstrong, who once led North American sales for Sage X3, has become COO of Cegid. Armstrong took the position with the Lyon, France-based cloud retail application vendor this month after serving as EVP of partners and services and sales for Kenandy from October 2016 until taking the new job.

This is big step as Cegid had $315 million in sales in 2016 before its acquisition by Claudius France, completed last year The latter organization is a holding company of Claudius Finance, which is itself indirectly controlled by U.S. investment fund Silver Lake and AltaOne Capital. Armstrong was with Collins Computing and then Microsoft before joining Sage in 2010. She was VP of Sales for ERP X3 North America from 2012 through 2015. Built on the Salesforce platform, Kenandy markets cloud-based ERP and I had been expecting some channel news from the company but gone none and maybe this explains why. The company has implementation and referral partners. Its website shows 10 implementation partners, but gives no names of referral partners.
