DYNAMICS REVS TO HIT $2.5B Featured

Satya Nadella, MicrosoftDynamics revenue will reach $2.5 billion for the year ending June 30, Microsoft said this week. CEO Satya Nadella gave the forecast in this week’s webcast for earnings for the quarter ended September 30. Nadella said half of that will be from Dynamics 365.

Do the math, that leaves about $1.25 billion for the rest of the line. This is the first time we have heard overall revenue figures for Dynamics for some time. For the recently ended quarter, Dynamics revenue rose by 20 percent over a year earlier with Dynamics 365, sales were 51 percent.  The company did not break out quarterly revenue for the line. Dynamics revenue is part of the Productivity and Business Processes segment which produced $9.8 billion in revenue for the most recently ended period, a rise of 19 percent from a year ago. That segment is comprised by Office Commerce, Office Consumer and LinkedIn, along with Dynamics.
