The increase in QBO subscribers has been at least one million year-over-year for each of the last five quarters. CEO Sasan Goodarzi noted the next step in Intuit’s cloud-based financial software. “We are encouraged by initial results for QuickBooks Online Advanced, as we take our game to the mid-market to serve those businesses with 10 to 100 employees,” he said during this week’s earnings webcast. Intuit reported net income of $189 million for the most recently ended quarter, an increase of 3.3 percent from $183 million a year earlier. Second-quarter revenue was $1.5 million, up 12.2 percent, from $1.3 million a year earlier.
