PERVASIVE UPS GUIDANCE
Pervasive Software has told Wall Street to expect higher revenue and earnings than it had previously forecast for its September quarter. On July 21, the company said it expected revenue to range from $10.5 million to $11.5 million. Yesterday, it increased that to a window of $11.9 million to $12.2 million in sales.
The July guidance for earnings of 3 cents per share to 6 cents per share was increased to a range of 6 cents per share to 7 cents per share. A year ago, the company had $11.9 million in revenue and earnings of 7 cents per share. For the December quarter, Pervasive expects revenue to range from $11 million to $12 million, with earnings going from 4 cents per share to 7 cents per share. Those compare to year-ago figures of $11.2 million in revenue and earnings of 6 cents per share.
