NETSUITE DOUBLES PHILIPPINES STAFF

PhilippinesNetSuite has doubled the size of  its operations in Manila, Philippines, which the comany said is a key site for global technical support, services and back-office operations, to include product development and quality assurance capabilities. Nearly 300 are employed in the office.

The company also said it has developed  NetSuite Version 2009.2, a new localized product designed to meet the requirements of the Philippines Department of Finance Bureau of Internal Revenue. The application is designed to ensure key tax compliance, reporting and data export requirements. The office, established in January 2007, is headed by James Dantow, general manager and VP of global support. The press release announcing this seemed to be missing a few details, including what doubled means (staff, facilities?) and over what period this occurred, over the last few months, last year, since its founding?
