ACUMATICA BUILDS CHANNEL IN INDONESIA
Probably no one expects to be affected by the growth of Bethesda, Md.-based Acumatica, which markets SaaS-based financial software through its Indonesian arm. But I think that if I were a reseller, I would want any vendor that I might partner with to be viable in more than just the United States.
The company recently moved into the Canadian market and this week it said it had signed eight distributors (read VARs) via Acumatica Indonesia. The Asian operation also has resellers in Thailand. With Australian Pronto having hired a VP of the Americas last fall, growth is going both ways. Acumatica also has operations in Moscow and Singapore.
