SLEETER PUSHES SAGE INSIGHTS
The Sleeter Group has been known for its QuickBooks program, but this year it's promoting Sage's Insights reseller conference. With Doug Sleeter speaking at the Denver get-together, his communication to members of the Sleeter Group Consultant Network offers free passes to the first 10 members of the group to RSVP. The early-bird Sleeter members also get a free one-year membership in the Sage Accountants Network, along with a five-user version of the Accountants Edition of Peachtree Quantum.
The invitation is a little more enthusiastic than I might have expected from someone who had been so identified with QuickBooks (although the organization has been expanding outside the Intuit world over the last two or three years.) "Every year Sage hosts the partner event that can't be missed ... Insights", Sleeter wrote. Well, it's a good job of selling with enthusiasm. Members No. 11 and after still get the free SAN membership, but have to pay a discounted rate of $795 to attend the conference.
