COUGAR INTROS CMS 2011
Cougar Mountain Software has released CMS Professional 2011, which includes a new dashboard – Cougar Dtails, A Sales Dashboard – and which the Boise, Idaho-based company said is an expansion of its dashboard line. The sales dashboard is described as providing a one-stop sales monitoring system that combines database tables used to compiled five different reports into a single tool. Users can choose from 17 views to track and monitor sales. The short version is that there are lots of ways to slice and dice data, along with multiple drill downs and additional sorting options.
The new dashboard pulls data from the point of sale, order entry, inventory and accounts receivable modules. There are three main tabs for displaying data graphically: the Sales Summary, Sales by Product and Sales by Customer tabs. An updated version of the company’s first entry, Cougar Dtails, A Financial Dashboard, is also included in the 2011 release. The dashboard line was apparently named by somebody who hates spellcheckers.
