LAHEY DEPARTS SPEEDTAX
David Lahey, who seemed to be assuming an important position at SpeedTax, has left to pursue other interests after serving as VP of sales and marketing since early February. Lahey had been very visible until his sudden departure, and now is listed in that kind of faux title that LinkedIn forces you into as "Accomplished Software Executive with Comprehensive Channel and Global Experience."
Lahey had his own software company from 1984 through 2002 when he joined the former Accpac International and stayed with the company following its purchase by Sage in October 2005. He stayed with that company through November 2009, having spent the last 19 months as VP of sales for Accpac.
