UNIT4 RESULTS: PROXY FOR Q3?

Unit 4 logoUnit 4, which owns the Agresso and Coda Financial lines, isn't a well-known name in the United States, but it is making a push here, although not through resellers. But let's hope for the industry's sake that more familiar vendors do as well as Unit 4 ended its third quarter on September 30 with revenue of about $139 million, an increase of more than 10 percent (as calculated in euros) from last year's corresponding period.
The company said this was significant because it originally expected that the quarterly revenue would fall below the year-ago amount since the period last year had included some large deals. EBITDA also grew by 6 percent to about $28.2 million, despite the company's continuing to pump money into FinancialForce.com, which has money from Salesforce.com behind it to provide an ERP companion for its CRM line. Unit4 cited what it termed significant orders in the public sector in the United Kingdom and the private sector in Spain, along with deals in Asia.
