Executives said Radiant has only a roughly 2 percent share of specialty retail market and expect to see that grow significantly as it increases the number of sales reps addressing that market by 20 percent.

RADIANT SYSTEMS REVS UP 20 PERCENT
POS specialist Radiant Systems, whose offerings include the CounterPoint line, continued on a tear as its third quarter ended September 30 resulted in net income more than double last year while revenue rose by 26 percent over the third quarter a year earlier. Earnings reached $7.5 million, compared to $3.4 million a year earlier with operating income having risen by 35 percent. Revenue was $89.2 million, up from $70.9 million.
