LAHEY LANDS AT JOB FIRM

David LaheyDavid Lahey, an accounting software veteran, had taken a position as VP of Customer Success at Jobvite, a start-up which has social recruiting features.  Lahey was most recently EVP of sales and marketing at SpeedTax, the sales-and-use software tax company, but left abruptly after nine months there.
Lahey held a variety of executive positions at Accpac, and then at Sage, from 2002 through November 2009. Lahey says the Jobvite product is suited for firms with more than 80 employees. His new employer's products include Jobvite Sources, which the companies calls a social sourcing and candidate relationship management application and Jobvite Hire, which it describes as a complete recruiting and applicant-tracking platform. The company's Web page says Jobvite has API-level integration with LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter which enables its products to match jobs to referral prospects and help spread the word on social network. It has extended its matching technology to the open Web. Titles like VP of Customer Success always strike me as sounding like they were made up by the Chinese Communists, like "Blood of the Martyrs Mountain."
