SAGE'S VP JOHNSON GOES TO INTUIT

Paul JohnsonIt is clear that sales VP Paul Johnson left Sage North America this month because of an opportunity at Intuit. Johnson is joining Intuit where he will head sales and marketing for Intuit Financial Services, which markets products through financial institutions, starting next month. Still, that left Sage with another change in the executive ranks in its biggest market.

Until a replacement is named, Tom Miller, VP of channel development, will handle Johnson's duties. Miller's announcement also showed that Pascal Houillon, who will replace Sue Swenson as CEO of Sage North America next year, has assumed the job of president of Sage Business Solutions. That was the position held by Jodi Uecker-Rust until she resigned in early October. At the speed this is developing, I'd say we are in for quite a few changes that will throw out many of the changes of the last three years.
