CLIENTS FIRST TAKES EPICOR AWARD
Clients First Business Solutions last month took away Epicor Evangelist Award as the "the partner who has been the most enthusiastic about promoting Epicor and the Channel." And that's pretty good since the Holmdel, N.J.-based reseller has been carrying Epicor 9 only since November. The awards were given out in early June at Momentum, Epicor's partner conference.
You might remember that last week I chided the company for not getting publicity out on this (either the awards or the conference), while patting itself on the back publicly in the last year for the awards it had received for its reseller program. The other five award winners included E2B Teknologies which received the Customer Satisfaction Award and Rent A DSS, which got the Consistent Sales Excellence Award. EC Solutions pulled down the Most Creative CAM Strategy Award and the Six S Partners was honored with the Most Innovative Marketing Award. I have this idea that companies that want to do business via a channel should out of the way to publicize their VARs' accomplishments.
