DYNAMICS REVS UP 19 PERCENT

Dynamics logoMicrosoft's Dynamics operation closed out the year ended June 30 with a bang as revenue for the software business was 19 percent higher than the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010. And Dynamics revenue was up by 10 percent year-over-year, the company said today as it released its 2011 earnings report. Those numbers support the anecdotal evidence of some resellers who said that June was one of the best months ever.
As is the custom, the percentage changes are the only numbers released about Microsoft Business Solutions and Dynamics, whose results are buried in those of its parent Microsoft Business Division. However, Dynamics' growth outstripped the rise in results at MBD. The division reported fourth-quarter revenue of $5.78 billion, an increase of 7 percent from $5.38 billion a year earlier. In its earnings webcast, the company mentioned Dynamics along with Exchange, Sharepoint and Link as being added to multi-year agreements.
