The product offers automatic updates and guarantees compliance and also has built-in W-9 and B-notice remediation processing. “It takes something that is an inefficient mechanism and automates it,” says product manager Tim Teeter. The system validates IDs and can take hundreds or thousands of forms, print and mail them at the end of January, and file them with the Internal Revenue Service. Teeter says use of the product can also reduce a company’s risk because if they are audited “they have the records at their beck and call.” Entry-level pricing is about $1,000 a year.
