Partner of the Year awards went to Six S Partners of Waterloo, Canada, as Top Revenue producer, and Mexican VAR, Arcos, as Rookie of the Year. The only American entry, HRMS Solutions of Washington D.C. does just what its name suggests, functions such as HR and Payroll. The company was honored for largest transaction. Six S is a manufacturing specialist while Arcos does manufacturing and distribution. When Epicor 9 first came out, the company, pre-merger with Activant Solutions, trumpeted the product as getting Epicor back into financial applications. It signed up some quality U.S. resellers: CompuData, Clients First and Sikich among them. But since then, the effort seems to have halted and I don't know if that's because Epicor has all the American VARs it needs or something else is at work.
