Epicor had filed an SEC report recently that it was reorganizing its retail division and said that Paul Salsgiver, EVP for the retail software unit, would no longer meet the SEC's requirements for an executive officer. Salsgiver joined Epicor via its merger with Activant Solutions, which has turned out to be more a takeover by Activant than merger. Retail was an important part of the Activant business.
