Among new features is the ability of the Intacct application to automatically detect when a user logs in from a smartphone or tablet and adapt the interface to that device. There is also a new approvals icon that enables mobile users to approve such things as expense reports, timesheets reimbursements A new interface in the account groups view delivers more organized reporting components and users can allocated financial data across all dimensions, And users cano more efficiently assign roles, permissions and client access. Love it when releases like this talk about anytime, anywhere access. I once told a writer, “Users have pretty much figured out the Internet does not close, so unless you know a version that’s open 9 to 5, Monday through Friday, don’t use the phrase.” I was counting the Intacct new features, “95 software features on the wall, 95 software features. Take one down …” I’m not sure I have the count right. But straight lines like that are like shooting horses in a barrel - or leading a fish to water.

INTACCT ROLLS OUT SPRING RELEASE
It's Intacct's term so - hey, don't criticize me for the headline. In any event, this is one of those kitchen-sink announcements with a lot of good features, but no big changes and that's hard on headline writers. The online software vendor says it has 100 enhancements in its "Spring 2012" release.
