DSD based in San Diego, Calif., is owned by Doug Deane, who over the last few years quietly put together a company that melded several smaller reselling operations from across the country. Honors were handed out this week at the Sage Summit conference. The other Partner of the Year honorees from the ranks of Sage Gold Developers were AccuPOS for Sage 50 Accounting (the old Peachtree), Syscon for Sage 100 Contractor (once Master Builder),  and Digital Business Integration – hh2 Web Services for Sage Construction and Real Estate (Timberline in the old days), Also on the winners list was Orchid Business for Sage 300 (ancient Accpac) and SWK Technologies for Sage 500 (once MAS 500). Since Sage announced it is supporting the last product for the next five years, ... well, I guess there's plenty of time to sell, develop and make plans.
