EXACT ONLINE IN U.S. IN FIRST HALF

Exact logoExact plans a controlled release of Exact Online in the United States and the United Kingdom in the first half of 2013. The online accounting system, which has been sold in the Benelux countries, has been the Dutch company's fastest growing product and that trend continued as Exact released an interim report for the third quarter ended September 30.
While Exact reported its reorganization is ahead of schedule in reducing cost, the company saw a decline in revenue after currency adjustments. Operational revenue for the most recently ended period was about $64 million, down 2.8 percent from a year earlier, although reported revenue actually rose by 2.7 percent. Exact Online revenue was about 4.9 million for the quarter, an increase of 46.8 percent from last year's corresponding period. Third quarter EBITDA was about $8.8 million, down 41 percent from a year earlier because of restructuring charges taken during the quarter. As part of the restructuring, Exact sold its Orisoft subsidiary and organized the company into two divisions: Cloud Solutions and Business Solutions. The interim statement said subscription pricing has been introduced for its Business Solutions products, although no details were provided.
