SYSPRO 7 TO RELEASE IN 2013
Syspro 7 will be available in general release in April, the company says, after previewing the application in the channel this year. Syspro says the user interface will be styled after Windows 8 with active tiles and touch capabilities. Enhancements include industry layouts to support large-scale customization via enterprise-wide modification and themes.
The system can also be installed remotely via one click through a cloud infrastructure and is said to provide higher transactional throughput. Recently, Syspro introduced the Espresso mobile platform which supports the desktop and multiple mobile devices. The Espresso architecture is touted as enabling the user to adjust how the user interface behaves as well as providing developers with components to add business functionality on the back-end on the server.
