FORMER INTACCT VP JOINS MYBUYS

Dan Druker, MyBuysDan Druker, former marketing VP at Intacct, has joined the staff of MyBuys, based in San Mateo, Calif. MyBuys, which describes itself as involved in cross-channel personalization for retail, put Druker on the payroll as chief marketing officer in October, according to Druker's LinkedIn page.

The company has not issued a press release about his arrival, but such announcements often trail hirings by a few months. Druker was with Intacct from September 2007 through February 2012 and was officially SVP of marketing and business development. I think it's fair to say Druker put the cloud-based accounting software vendor on the map for much of the press. Druker's job description on his LinkedIn site says MyBuys "helps retailers, consumer brands and agencies maximize the effectiveness of their digital marketing spend, using big data analytics to gain behavioral insight across more than 200 million unique consumer profiles." In an email, Druker summarized the operation this way: "MyBuys has zero to do with accounting – we provide Amazon-like technology to retailers."
