ACCPAC 6.O ENTERS BETA 2
Accpac 6.0, an eagerly awaited release, has entered phase 2 of beta testing with the official release expected in December. The Sage North America website has a page for those interested in participating. Beta participants receive a 1.5 Tier Credit on the first three New Customer Sales within three months of the product release and those in beta and controlled release get double tier credit within the same three-month window.
Sorry, only North American partners need apply. Participants get to see a Webcast that provides an overview of new functionality, support via a beta community forum monitored by Sage support, and the ability to make product enhancement requests. I'm assuming the information on the website was written for Beta 1 since it says the test was expected to take four to six weeks during the summer. On October 1, Sage is providing a Webcast to discuss features such as the Portal, Inquiry and Quote-to-Order SageCRM integration.
