TRIBRIDGE SIGNS TWO AFFILIATES

Tribridge logoTribridge, which has been lagging in the Master VAR game, has signed two sales affiliates. The Tampa, Fla.-based Dynamics reseller signed its second and third sales affiliates after having picked up only one other in the program’s first year. Joining the network are CBR Technology and MIC Business Solutions. There are three Master VARs in the United States, including the SBS Group and Socius, with another 10 or so in other countries.

Rich Wickham, the relatively new general manager for U.S. partner sales, said at Convergence that the Master VAR program is probably more important in areas such as Eastern Europe. For developing a reseller network, “We don’t have 10 to 20 people to put in those countries,” he said, adding that Microsoft is already seeing good results in that area. Both Tribridge affiliates carry Dynamics GP and will operate that business under the Tribridge name and utilizing its purchasing power with Microsoft. However, both also have much broader programs besides Microsoft. Based in Huntington Beach, Calif., CBR also carries NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions and Intuit POS, and the Lightspeed Retail POS for ioS. The website of MIC Business Solutions, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi, shows that it carries Solarsoft, which was purchased by Epicor last year, and performs implementation and development for Oracle/J.D. Edwards and for SAP.
