EXACT ONLINE M'FACTURING HERE IN JUNE

Erik van der Meijden, ExactExact Online Manufacturing will enter the market in the United States in June in a controlled release. The planned introduction was outlined in the company's recently released annual report for 2012 and shows we are going to see a lot more new stuff from the Netherlands-based Exact than we have seen in years. The company had previously said it would introduce its low-end Exact Online in the American market in the fourth quarter.

The annual report termed the response to the new online manufacturing package strong and said it had received more than 20 commercial contracts for the product by December 31. Exact also said that its American products, Longview, JobBoss and Max "showed healthy growth, due to low attrition rates and an expanding customer base." When Exact reorganized its U.S. operations last year, which included getting rid of the American management, it closed its Boston-area headquarters. During the webcast of 2012 earnings CEO Erik van der Meijden also said that the products, along with Lohn, were operating like independent companies and would not receive money from Exact. It plans to use the manufacturing customer base here to move the online product. "We intend to leverage our strong customer base in the US for the launch of Exact Online Manufacturing in 2013," it said. The annual report had no additional discussion of the U.S. plans for Exact Online or whether any other new cloud products would head across the ocean, including Exact Online Wholesale Distribution. The annual report termed JobBoss growth for 2012 "excellent" and in discussing the results later said that the maintenance base for Macola declined and fewer license deals for that product produced a drop in U.S. revenue.
