PRO ADVANTAGE GETS APP BACK

Collections Management, an application for Dynamics GP users, has been transferred back to Professional Advantage. Microsoft had been selling and supporting the product, which was authored by the reseller, for 12 years. With the transfer, Professional Advantage, an Australian company with its U.S. operations based in Fargo, N.D., is releasing a new edition of Collections Management. Customers have a one-time opportunity to retain full rights to the produce which was granted under their Module Based Licensing or Business Ready Licensing packages.

Those who exercise the option can continue to use the software at no cost. The company is also opening distribution to Dynamics GP VARs who can register as Collections Management Partners. Professional Advantage said the new release offers time-saving improvements, utilizes collection plans to automate collection steps, integrates with non GP invoicing systems, offers Quick Start setup wizards and improves reporting. Among the basic features of the collections application are the ability to  send pre-defined collection letters and attached invoices, see customer communications, contact details and balance information and set up collection plans
