SAP ROLLS OUT CLOUD CONSULTING
SAP has introduced cloud consulting services available for a broad range of its product line. The offerings include a cloud catalyst service, available internationally, with a live scoping for accelerated innovation service initially available in North America. Cloud catalyst service is a bundle of analysis and a selective migration road map “for using infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) for on-premise landscapes.”
It details how to relate an existing SAP installation to the cloud along with the costs and benefits of migration, along with how to use public and private cloud delivery as a hybrid. Live scoping services are said to be offered for the SAP Business Suite, Hana “and others” so let’s assume they might make it into the midmarket. Customers can simulate a cloud implementation through scenario walk-throughs, guided demonstrations and scope and interface discussions. Customers can have their own data running live in order to predict final implementation results.
