ACUMATICA DEAL AVERAGE TO HIT $60K Featured

AcumaticaAcumatica predicts the size of the average sale of the company's software will hit $60,000 by year's end. That compares to $51,012 at the end of the first year and $36,695 at the end of the first half of 2012.

It should get easier to raise the average as the company has announced its first-ever price increase. However, the price hike is loaded towards the on-premise software, with little to no change on the cloud side. "We are extending the high end of our pricing. It means you will be able to capture more revenue from these larger deals," the company's chief marketing officer Stijn Hendrikse told attendees at this week's Acumatica Summit. On-premise pricing moves up by 25 percent on modules, except for finance. On the cloud side, pricing rose by as much as 8 percent, but again there was no increase for the financial function. "SaaS customers who buy financial only will not see a price increase," Hendrikse said.
