HIGHJUMP ACQUIRING TRUE COMMERCE

HighJump, which markets a variety of software packages, is acquiring True Commerce, which has been a steady exhibitor at Microsoft and Sage conferences. The True Commerce product line includes EDI translation and data mappin

g software, transaction network and on-boarding services. HighJump said True Commerce will operate in a "business as usual" fashion, serving the 3,000 customers who use its products to connect with trading partners. HighJump has offerings in the distribution and logistics area, such as warehouse management systems, a manufacturing execution system for discrete manufacturers. There are also mobile products, such as field service and inventory management applications and direct store delivery packages, such as route management and mobile presell and delivery. HighJump is already involved with financial software and its ERP data collection system integrates with Great Plains, although the company website lists more of the upper-end packages, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP and Mapics. There is also ERP Data Collection for the Shop Floor and in fact, data collection products are elements of all the different segment offerings.
