The first was InterMicro which it purchased in February 2012. MASI's office is now the Pacific Northwest office of Open Systems. Joe Taylor, who has been president of MASI since 1983, is now a division manager for Open Systems and was president of Add-On Software from 1997 through 2006. MASI was a reseller of AddOn products which are for use by distributors and manufacturers.

Open Systems has acquired MicroAccounting Systems of Beaverton, Ore. It's the second reseller that Minneapolis-based Open Systems has acquired in the last two years.
