SugarCRM, which markets open source CRM applications, says it has added nearly 90 customers in the region over the last 12 months.

SugarCRM has hired Wayne Goss as the regional sales director for Asia Pacific, a new position. Goss will be headquartered in Sydney, Australia, and will be responsible for cultivating sales of its brands and supporting channel partners in the region. Previously, Goss was IBM's national competitive, strategy and engagement leader where was responsible for developing strategies to address competitors for IBM products in Australia and New Zealand for the last year.
