ACUMATICA GETS MIDDLE EAST VAR Featured

Laurent Dedenis,  AcumaticaAcumatica has signed Navigant Solutions to sell Acumatica products in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Jordan. The announcement was made by Laurent Dedenis, president of Acumatica's international operations, a new effort as Dedenis moved into his position in April. On its website Navigant also bills itself as the Middle East's No. 1 NetSuite reseller. Founded in 2008, Navigant has offices in San Francisco, Calif., and Dubai, UAE.

Its CEO Hadi Yashruti worked for NetSuite from December 2002 through March 2008. In his final position there from December 2006 through March 2008, he was strategic services, program manager. Dedenis' experience goes back to Solomon Software's operations in Southeast Asia, where he worked from May 1997 through December 2000. After Microsoft purchased Solomon he worked there for almost four years. The Solomon business is where Acumatica's code originated and he joined Acronis, Acumatica's sister company, in November 2004 and served as president of global sales and marketing there from January 2011 before taking the new job.
