SUGARCRM GOES UPMARKET, LATIN Featured

Enrique Perezveya, Sugar CRMSugarCRM is moving up market and that was reflected in the increase in average sales reported this month and an agreement with Deutsche Telekom to serve the enterprise market. In the third quarter, the open source CRM company also hired Enrique Perezyera as SVP and GM of Latin America and the Caribbean. Based in Mexico, Perezyera spent nearly nine years where was as president of Latin America and the Caribbean. On the deal front, CEO Larry Augustin says the average deal size for the third quarter was more than 70 percent larger than in the second quarter.

Generally, I don't report percentage changes in revenue for private companies that provide no figures. However, the company says it was cashflow positive for both 2013 and the nine months ended September 30 and that it had a GAAP operating loss of less than million in each of the last two quarters. In Europe, Deutsche Telekom systems solution unit, T-System will deploy and manage Sugar enterprise-ready SaaS offering from its data centers in Germany. Action focuses on Germany, Austria and Switzerland with plans to move into other countries next year.
