ADAPTIVE SNARES $75 MILLION Featured

Thomas Bogan, Adaptive InsightsAdaptive Insights, which makes analytic and corporate performance management applications, recently closed a $75 million round of funding. JMI Equity joined a group of six investor groups that plunked down money for the cloud software company. Palo Alto, Calif.-based Adaptive listed accelerating "product road map innovation and global expansion" and the general use for the funds.

The prior investors are Norwest Venture Partners, ONSET Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Cardinal Venture Capital, Monitor Ventures and Information Venture Partners. In January, Adaptive hired Thomas Bogan, who was served as chair of Citrix Systems for twelve-and-half years, as CEO and the company adopted its new name, discarding its long-used Adaptive Planning moniker. It had also completed significant development of its executive team in the second half of 2014.
