OnCenter will continue to be operated by its current management, headed by CEO Cecilia Padilla, from its offices in The Woodlands, Texas. Roper recently changed its name from Roper Industries. Terms were not disclosed, nor was Accel-KKR's involvement mentioned in the press releasing announcing the deal, although it was published on the investment firm's website. Roper is a sizable company. It had 10,137 employees, 7,110 of those located in the United States, when its fiscal year ended on December 31 and revenue of $3.55 billion for the year. The OnCenter website has a staff photo with about 60 persons pictured.

Roper Technologies has acquired OnCenter Software. OnCenter was at least partially owned by Accel-KKR, which made an investment of unknown size in October 2013. OnCenter, in business since 1998, markets estimating and project management software. It integrates with a number of packages including Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate. It also links with Cert-In Software Systems, Roger Shaw & Associates, and Prime Estimating Software and Services.
