SAGE CFO BECOMES CEO

Steve Hare, SageThe Sage Group took what seems a logical route, and quick route, to getting a new CEO. It has named CFO Steve Hare to the top job. He replaces Steve Kelly, who was booted on August 31, a month before the company ended its fiscal year on September 30.

Alan Wyne, Innovia ConsultingInnovia Consulting, once known as ABC Computers, has revamped its management. The company’s moved came after founder and now chairman, Donovan Lane, stepped back into management last year. Lane was CEO until January 2013 when Mark Christie took over the job.

ALITHYA, EDGEWATER COMBINE

Jeffrey Rutherford, Edgewater TechnologyEdgewater Technology, a Microsoft and Oracle partner, has become part of Canadian Alithya. The deal closed this week following shareholder approval which establishes Alithya and Edgewater as subsidiaries of the newly formed Alithya Group, which will take Edgewater’s place as a publicly traded company on Nasdaq.

Denise Leleux, AvidXchange AvidXchange has hired Denise Leleux as SVP for supplier services. Leleux joins the company from Tesla, where she where she led Global Customer Experience for the Tesla Automotive and Energy Businesses from May 2017 until taking the new job.

BLACKBAUD RAMPS SALES HIRING

Tony Boor, BlackbaudBlackbaud is ramping up its sales force to serve a larger market. The company said during its recent webcast for earnings for the third quarter ended September 30 that it is hiring more than 100 sales reps. Blackbaud ended the second quarter with 440 reps and was up to 472 when the third period ended.

Krista Endsley, Cantata HealthKrista Endsley, who served as CEO of Abila when it was an independent company, has been named CEO of Cantata Health. Endsley served as CEO of Abila, which was purchased by Community Brands in April 2017, from March 2013 through March 2017.

ORACLE GAVE THREE EXECS $103.7M OPTIONS

Mark Hurd, OracleOracle granted three of its named executives $103.7 million option awards each for the year ended May 31. The awards pushed each of the three to more than $108 million in compensation for fiscal 2018.
