No wonder CEO Charles Phillips’ keynote was preceded by a marching band and day before the event, Infor said it will be actively hiring.

XERO FLOATS $300M NOTES FOR M&A

Steve Vamos, XeroXero is issuing $300 million in notes aimed at providing funds for acquisitions. The online accounting software company this week said it expects about $324 million in proceeds from the offering which is expected to be completed October 4.

 Heidi Benko, InforInfor has announced the GT Nexus Control Center, an AI-driven platform, that serves as an analytical tool and AI-assisted, decision-making cockpit. It was rolled out this week at the software company’s Inforum.

Satya Nadella, MicrosoftThree software giants, Adobe Systems, Microsoft and SAP have initiated the Open Data initiative they announced this week. The companies are enhancing interoperability and data exchange between their applications and platforms —Adobe Experience Cloud and Adobe Experience Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP C/4HANA and S/4HANA — through a common data model.

NETSUITE ERP CUSTOMERS UP 25 PERCENT

Mark Hurd, OracleNetSuite had strong growth for the first quarter ended August 31 with a 26-percent increase in revenue. Figures released for this year and the year-ago first quarter also show the number of NetSuite ERP customers rose to more than 15,000 from 12,000, up more than 25 percent.

SALESFORCE GOING TO VOICE

Parker Harris, Salesforce Salesforce has announced Einstein Voice Assistant, a voice interface, which will be available as a pilot in the winter 2019 release of the company’s CRM application. Administrators will be able to build Einstein Voice Bots connected to Salesforce, which will be piloted in the summer 2019 release. Pricing information will be released at the time of general availability.
