INTACCT PITCHES BUDGETING, PLANNING

DYNAMICS REVS TO HIT $2.5B

Satya Nadella, MicrosoftDynamics revenue will reach $2.5 billion for the year ending June 30, Microsoft said this week. CEO Satya Nadella gave the forecast in this week’s webcast for earnings for the quarter ended September 30. Nadella said half of that will be from Dynamics 365.

QBO ADVANCED ROLLS OUT

 Alex Chriss, IntuitIntuit has debuted QuickBooks Online Advanced after publicly discussing the product for some months. The new application, officially announced this week, supports up to 25 users and Intuit has talked about possibly increasing the user count.

STOCK BOOSTS MICROSOFT SALARIES

Satya Nadella, Microsoft Stock awards were the primary factor boosting Microsoft executive salaries for the year ended June 30. Information filed this week with the SEC showed the software company paid CEO Satya Nadella $25.8. million last year an increase of 29.1 percent from slightly than $20 million for 2017.

John Hendrickson, Sage IntacctReselling veteran John Hendrickson has joined Sage Intacct as part of the software company’s partner enablement and recruitment team. Intacct also hired another person well-known in the VAR channel, Dawn Westerberg, as senior channel marketing manager.

KKR MAKING MYOB BID

MYOBAustralian software company MYOB just went public again for the first half of June 2015. But it now faces a possible buyout by venture capital firm KKR. Venture firm Bain, which owns 19.9-percent of MYOB, purchased it for $1.3 billion in August 2011.
