INTUIT’S SMITH EARNED $21.1M

Brad Smith, IntuitIntuit CEO Brad Smith received $21.1 million  in compensation for the year ended July 31, an increase of 28.6 percent from $16.4 million a year earlier. Smith, who is leaving the company, will be replaced by EVP Sasan Goodarzi on January 1.

INTUIT: QBES BASE 140,000

Brad Smith, IntuitIntuit says it has 140,000 subscribers for its QuickBooks Desktop Solutions. The numbers from CEO Brad Smith during this week’s webcast for earnings for the first quarter ended October 30, marks the first time in several years the software company has provided installed base figures for QBES.

Christian Pedersen, IFSChristian Pedersen, who once played a key role in Microsoft’s Dynamics business, has become chief product officer of IFS, an enterprise software company based in Sweden. Pedersen joins the company after holding the same position with SAP from January 2017 through August this year.
