ADAPTIVE INSIGHTS BEEFS UP SUITE

Paul Turner, AdaptiveInsightsAdaptive Insights
has introduced Adaptive Suite 2014.2, a new version that features Adaptive Integration and OfficeConnect. In a prepared statement, Paul Turner, the company’s VP of product marketing, describes the suite as one that  “data analysts can easily contribute data to …” Adaptive Integration enables organizations to source and merge multiple data sources into the staging area, store snapshots of history, manage incremental or full data sets, store summary or detail data and cleanse and prepare data for analytics.

It can integrate multiple sources, manage detailed history and ensure all parties have a single version of information. Adaptive OfficeConnect, which will be available on September 29, enables organizations to utilize their Excel report library convert them to cloud-connected reports in minutes. The system retains Office controls including conditional formatting, calculations and charts. Adaptive Planning and Consolidation sheets now include a more “Excel-like” look, feel and calculations, are designed to support smartphones, tablets and desktop computers. A new Authentication module provides single sign-on capabilities to the suite by integrating with corporate standards. Adaptive integrates with identity management programs such as Okta and Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services.
