Net at Work was No. 10 this year on the list of Bob Scott’s Top 10 VARs with $51.8 million in revenue. Southeast, based in Miami, Fla., was No. 87 with $5.6 million. As with many Sage VARs, the two resellers have added other lines with Net at Work carrying NetSuite and SouthEast, Acumatica. The acquisition also expands Net at Work’s business in Latin America and the Caribbean and sets the stage for a broader market effort there. Sonia Ferrera, Southeast’s President and CEO, will head business development for the Southeast region, Latin America and the Caribbean. Southeast has worked primarily in Mexico. It has started marketing in Peru and will expand as localizations of software products are available. The Latin American campaign will include Sage X3. Net at Work co-founder Alex Solomon said it’s a good market for the manufacturing package as what has been available in that arena has primarily been SAP. As with several other deals by New York, N.Y.-based Net at Work, Southeast comes on board after being part of the Net at Work Alliance Partner program. Southeast brings 28 employees to the game bringing Net at Work to “north of 300”, Solomon said.
