News and Analysis
Skyytek, which had a partner program when it was NetSuite’s largest reseller, has relaunched the program now that it has signed up for SAP’s Business By Design. An affiliate program is also being offered for a sister company, SalesOrder.com. The BBD program signs up companies as Solution Providers, who get 50 percent of gross margins if they sell products or if Skyytek sells them within a geographical or vertical territory.
Affiliates in the SalesOrder.com program can get 30 percent of recurring revenue, an affiliate portal to track leads, marketing collateral and URL’s with embedded affiliate codes. Skyytek CEO Ray Tetlow says his company is engaged in premarketing for BBD, the SaaS product that will hit the market in volume during the summer. He termed BBD itself as “fast with good response time and very good functionality. SAP has done a really good job on first impression.” I have gotten a similar view from a high-quality reseller of another midmarket product who is considering adding BBD to his company’s line up.
