Unit4 has released a new version of Unit4 Financials. The Netherlands-based software company says the software's single, unified ledger system now enables customers to capture unlimited amounts of business-specific dimensions from any operational system.

Unit4 plans to double the R&D resources for its Agresso financial line over the next two years. The now privately held company did not issue any figures, but effort will remain centered in Norway, although there will be additional capacity in Wroclaw, Poland, and Granada, Spain, more than 150 developers are employed. “Poland and Spain offer scalable, high-quality talent pools that will allow us to build on existing, proven development operations,” CEO José Duarte said in a prepared statement.
