ECI Software Solutions has notified all U.S. and Canadian Macola resellers their contracts will expire. It’s clear ECI, which owns Macola, is dropping many domestic resellers, but is not clear yet what will take their place.

ECI Software Solutions—owner of JobBoss, Macola and Max—has acquired Vineyardsoft. Terms were not disclosed. Vineyardsoft makes Knowledgesync, an alerts and workflow application.
